Spookio Sound Generator

Gut Groove, the developer behind Shibo, a nice application that turns your PC or Mac into a virtual piano, brings you Spookio, an application that makes it very easy to generate spooky sounds. All you have to do is drag a circle around on the application’s interface – as you do so, the application generates spooky sounds.

Spookio can be installed on a Windows XP, Vista, 7, or 8-powered PC. It can also be installed on a Mac powered by Mac OS X 10.6 through 10.8. Getting back to Windows, the simple truth of the matter is that installing the application on a PC is a simple, straightforward process that goes along smoothly and rapidly.

The application's interface looks like someone splashed some paint on a dark surface. To the left there are dials for adjusting the feedback/delay and the reverb effect. At the top, where it is usually located, there’s a traditional File Menu. Access the Instructions submenu and the interface will be populated with information on how to use the application.

Speaking about using Spookio, all you have to do is click and hold a circle, then move it around as you see fit – a spooky sound will be generated as you move the mouse cursor around. Change the sound frequency by using the 1, 2, or 3 number keys, switch between sound generation waveforms by pressing W, press the R key to start the recording process.
